Dina Levin                                        Lead Vocal

Dina was born in St. Petersburg, Russia where at the age of 12 she has started her journey on sta actress in Youth Theater of Petersburg. Few years later in 1990 she moved with her family to Israe she continued her post secondary education in school of acting and there she discovered her pass music as a vocalist. By the end of her last year at Sofi Moscovich School of Acting in Tel Aviv she w to join “Malenki” Theater directed by Igor Berezin and  performed on stage with this troupe in vario as an actor and a singer for over five years. In 2007 Dina visited Canada where she met her future artist Alexey Reznik and stayed with him in Canada since then. Together they’ve started their musi journey as a duet while Dina was also involved in Toronto theater life with NSK Theatre and Clay a Theatre. Sound became her very deep interest and she went to Trebas Institute in Toronto to study Engineering and Production. After successfully accomplishing her studies she has started impleme knowledge as a Folley Artist, Production Assistant and Audio Visual Operator. In 2017, five friends together and the Maayan Band was born. Dina is Ma’ayan band’s lead vocalist. What unites all the members  is the desire to share the harmony that touches the eternal. Ma’ayan’s performances are interacting with the people who come to spend time with them because the beauty of truth is only r the connection of friends. Ma’ayan Band has been performing on stages across GTA and has a ve presence in social media.

Ernest Itzkovich Accordion

Ernest Itzkovich was born in 1960 in The Carpathian Mountains. As a child he studied to play on B (button accordion) and piano. He immigrated to Israel at twelve where he studied accordion with P Izu Shteinberg (Graduate from the World Class Musical academy named after Georgio Enescu, Ro and became the first Honorary Graduate of the Kiriat Bialik Musical Conservatorium in 1977. Playi Accordion Duets from the age of 15 with his Teacher Prof Shteinberg across Israel, Ernest perform the Musical Query of Moetzet Poaley Haifa, being frequently invited as a guest performer by the E Academy of ORT Kiriat Bialik (to perform with music students exchange delegations from all over t taught young students accordion, piano and keyboard and in 1995 joined the Zamarin Musical Que Zichron Yakov as a tenor singer. Ernest moved to Canada in 2001 and continued his musical caree passion by teaching accordion, keyboard and piano for young students and some of his students a Graduates from the Musical Academy of Toronto and became professional Music Teachers themse Since 2015, Ernest has been a founding participant with his Friends in Maayan Band. Appearing in professional recordings with Maayan Band Friends, dozens of live performances in various music and round table gatherings in the Greater Toronto Area. Ernest looks forward to continuing sharing & passion for music in Canada & Abroad.

Dima Graziani Keys                Darbuka, Bass, Vocal

Dima was born in Minsk, Belarus in 1973. He started his musical career in musical school where h for 7 years piano, violin and drums. He continued his education in Music College of Minsk in 1986 studied at jazz faculty on drums, composition and piano. After 4 years, in 1990, he moved with his Israel, where he started to study in Jerusalem music academy, concentrating on jazz drums, comp music arrangement and piano and graduated in 1995 with a B. A. degree in performing arts. From 1997 he went to work on several music record projects in Moscow. He returned back to Israel in 19 worked as house engineer and in- house producer in one of the major recording studios in the cou "Studio One", where he recorded and produced over 80 various albums for local and international 2003 he moved to Canada along with his family. To the present Dima works in his studio in Toronto producer /engineer/ arranger and film and TV composer. During his Canadian experience he recor produced albums for over 70 Canadian artists including Tonia Cianciulli, Susan Cogan, Roman Sm Fred Engler, Manish Raghunath, Viva trio, NARIA among others. In 2017 he became co-founder o Maayan band along with 4 of his friends. In the band he is playing keys and percussion, sings, arra records. Dima along with the rest of Band's members are working on expanding its repertoire on a basis, currently seeking to release their first full length CD.

Alexey Reznik Oud, Guitar, Vocal

Alexey was born in Ukraine in 1972. He studied art and graphic design and started his career as a artist. He immigrated to Israel on his own when he was 20 following his jewish roots and beliefs. As he studied violin and classical guitar, but found his true passion discovering middle eastern music oud, the “king of all string instruments”, in particular. 12 years ago he moved to Canada, settling in finding very rich musical scene here, attending world and classical music performances regularly, j with many known folk and world musicians, taking oud lessons from local masters such as Demetr Petsalakis of Kune, Ventanas, playing on open mics all over the city venues, and becoming one of forming members of Maayan Band. With the Maayan band he took upon himself the role of arrang composer, string musician, conceptualizing and initiating Band development and growth. He stand the band's videoclips editing, social media and website creation and maintenance.
